Instructions for Preparing Game

1. Print the Mystic Life Tarot deck on 3" x 5" index cards after
downloading the program here (Windows required).
You may choose to use another tarot deck or form
of divination such as runes or the I-Ching.
If you print the Mystic Life Tarot deck, you may want to
print an image on the opposite side such as tarot.jpg
(when printing make sure you set the size to index
card and use the "Stretch to Page" option).

2. Print the game board from this page.

3. Use a 6 sided die (singular of dice).

Game Directions

(Coordinates are in the form of (column, row).)

1. Place your game piece (use whatever you like for a game piece)
on the appropriate square.

Two players:  (1,1) and (7,7)
Three players:  (5,1), (1,5) and (7,7)
Four players:  (1,1), (7,1), (1,7) and (7,7)
Five players or more:  create your own starting coordinates.

2. All players roll the die.  Lowest roll goes first.
Roll again if there is a tie.

3. Players take turn rolling the die.  The goal
is to reunify all pieces, and learn about
yourself in the process.

4. The number you roll coordinates with one of your chakras.

6 = Third eye Chakra
5 = Throat Chakra
4 = Heart Chakra
3 = Solar Plexus Chakra
2 = Navel Chakra
1 = Root Chakra

Move your piece the number that you roll.  Then flip over
a tarot card from the deck.  The card is connected to
a lesson for you for that chakra.  Feel free to talk
about it if you are comfortable doing so.

The game recorder writes down the name of the person,
the chakra rolled, and the title of the tarot card.

Your goal is to move towards another piece and land
directly upon it using the same number of moves you
have rolled.  When you have reunified, you move
as one, making decision together.

When you land upon the same square as another piece,
draw a card for both of you.  This represents the 7th
chakra which is the Crown Chakra.

This represents a divine message for both of
you that arises from your return to unity.
Use one piece or if they are stackable
move both as one.

Continue until all pieces have become one.

Rules

1. You may not retrace your steps while moving your game piece after your roll
(for example, you may not move north, then move south on your next move).

2. You may not move in a diagonal direction (only north, south, east or west).

3. You will be moving in a generally clockwise direction.

If you are in columns 1 or 2, you  may not move south.
If you are in columns 6 or 7, you may not move north.
If you are in rows 1 or 2, you  may not move west.
If you are in rows 6 or 7, you may not move east.

4. Hint: It is easier if one person is active and at least one other
person is patient.  If all are trying to be active they never
reach each other.
