This book is a wake-up call. It is my wake-up call. It may be yours. You may already be awake. You may be comfortable in your sleep. You may believe in the media-perpetuated idea of soul mate as an elixir to take away your pain. You may believe that there's no problem with the system and it's just a matter of finding the right person. If so, you see the world as a bunch of partial people trying to complete each other without understanding what wholeness is, and you will remain asleep. Perhaps you will not choose to awaken in this lifetime. I find that I can't sleep comfortably anymore beneath blankets of illusions and must awake despite my resistance to cling to the fairy tales about what love and sex should be.
