When we label someone "borderline" or having "borderline personality disorder" it attempts to remove us from our own fear of love, our own fear of vulnerability. This is what egos do...they create distance. We all have this condition and therefore it is only a matter of degree. If we are to be honest with ourselves we can see how the ego creeps in when we are pursuing healing contact and it gives us reasons to be afraid. By segmenting some people as having this "condition" we attempt to be above this ego trap. But no ego is different than any other...if it is there at all...it is capable of pushing and pulling.
