Sexual receptivity is a healing force of which we should be aware. It is possible to not know what this feels like in an intimate relationship if you have yet to experience it. You will know it when you feel an easiness, desired, safe, and unforced. Perhaps if you are acting out some past trauma you will not choose to be intimate with people who are sexually receptive. If so, sex becomes a game in which you win when it is available and lose if you can not find the key to the other's sexual lock. This game can be perpetuated indefinitely but does not lead to healing. Healing occurs when both people feel wanted, and know that they will not be placed into an ongoing situation of rejection and shame.
